Singer and songwriter Michon C. Young resides in Detroit, and considers Detroit to be her second hometown though born and raised in Gary, Indiana. Her musical talent was recognized by Pastor Marvin L. Winans, which led her to her singing background on his first solo CD, a duet with him at the opening of Tyler Perry Studios in Atlanta, Georgia and a tour.
